Files Settings
The Files Settings allow you to select a control file or
description file to use with the current job.
Control File
: allows you to select a control file to use with
the current job. Control files are discussed in more detail
on Page 41.
Description File
: allows you to select a description file to
use with the current job. Description files are discussed
in more detail on Page 45.
This File Uses Codes
: Check this box if the
description file contains codes and associated
descriptions. Leave the box unchecked if the description
only contains descriptions (no codes).
Feature Code File
: allows you to select a feature code file
to use with the current job. You can switch between different feature
code files in mid-job, but if a collected attribute does not match an
attribute in the feature code file, it can only be viewed – not edited.
: allows you to select a file to use with the current job.
Simply tap on the filename and then tap the button.
: closes the currently selected file so that it is no longer used
with the current job.
